Porsche Driving Day

John was recently invited by Rodenstock to take part in a Porsche Driving Day at Silverstone and although his instructor was a Corvette enthusiast (took John's for a spin) he had a great time, have a look what he got up to...........

Anna Sui Competition - Joint 1st!

For those of you that have passed by our Shrewsbury branch recently will have seen our Anna Sui window display.  This was entered into a national competition to win a trip to New York.  Anna Sui and her team made the finally decision but couldn't decided between ours and one other so we were both awarded joint first.  Our thanks and congratulations go out Catherine and Jessica Biddle who designed and dressed the window.

Open Day Competition Winners

We all had a really enjoyable time during our Open Days and want to thank all our customers new and old for supporting us. 

Congratulations to Mike S from Shrewsbury who won a pair of fabulous Maui Jim Designer Sunglasses and also our congratulations goes to Esher from Bridgnorth who correctly guessed the name of our gorilla, Clarence.  We hope you will both enjoy using sunglasses.

Open days at Shrewsbury

We are busy beavering away at our Shrewsbury branch, ready for Friday and Saturday’s open days (September 2 and 3) and really looking forward to showing people our new-look practice.

The refurbishment has been done to help introduce our new JBO name, and to help freshen up the practice – which we’re sure you’ll agree it has.

Many customers have already commented on how much lighter and more spacious it feels.

We have reinstated parquet flooring throughout the branch, which has been sanded, stained and repolished, and we removed the bulkheads from the two windows, which has been wonderful in helping to add more floor space and light. It also gives people passing by a much better view of what’s inside.

The dispensing unit has been moved too, and we've repositioned the frame displays, to give customers easier access.

The practice has been painted inside and out, and we have our new signage up – we feel the changes have really helped to modernise the place – but we’d love to know what our customers think too.

Please feel free to call in during the open days if you are in Shrewsbury.  There will be complimentary refreshments, and the chance to speak to us about any eye-care issues you have, or you can simply have a chat and a look around.
